Regina Johnston has over 20 years of horse care, riding, training, management and show experience.

Originally from California, Regina caught
the horse virus at a very early age. As a result, she would muck stalls at local barns just to have the opportunity to ride!
As a teenager, Regina grew up riding and competing at local competitions in Florida and Alabama. She was always
working at her family farm breaking, training and showing horses. A 1992 move placed her in the Northern Virginia area
where she has resided ever since. As she progressed through life, she routinely worked with “problem” horses and
their owners in an effort to achieve a more harmonious balance between horse and rider. She now has the opportunity
to pass along her skills and knowledge as the trainer of Woodland Farms to those beginner riders who caught the same “virus”.
